Goals and Desires:
Each desire longs for its fulfillment If we think in an organized manner, then each desire is to
be converted into the Goal, may be a very short term, medium term or long term Goal. For
achieving the Goal, a lot of efforts, skill sets, resources and requisite time are required.

The GAP moves the World:
Each person has his own understanding of Goal and availability of resources for achieving
the goal. With this, there is a developed perception of GAP between the Goal and the Resources. If the GAP is perceived to be scalable it MOTIVATES, while if the GAP is
perceived to be non-scalable it FRUSTRATES.

This perception about the scalability of the GAP, motivates or frustrates. In fact the
Motivation and Frustration are the two sides of the same coin. The perception about
scalability of the Gap is the big driver for moving the whole world. This is the reason why
most of the management guru prescribed for the short term smaller goals which are
achievable for motivation of employees.
Positive Mindset Vs Negative Mindset
Apparently, it is possible that in a given situation, each individual may perceive differently

may have different perceptions. The past experience of success or failure may also lead to a

identification of positive mindset people and inclusion of the same in the Team keeping the
